Well It was a great day good turnout and LOTS of seamasters, Joe had some wicked neat aircraft The same model in different sizes Tiny and small, Lots of electric and gas from the silent Eagle yep a bird From Bob to a Roaring gas Job of Art's , Bobs Eagle may have been quiet But the Loon did not like it :) All in all a real good morning, I dunked the solo But she flew again ok and then better when we went to Whispering Pines in the afternoon, Got the ugly stick up and away for several flights, the OS 4 stroke ran like a dream, I was having a blast learning to fly again, Had to bring it in a lot hotter than the trainer and fly the aircraft constantly not like the trainer at all, loop's roll's spins all sorts of neat stuff but I got disorientated one mistake too low and put her into the tree's.Smashed the wing too pieces BUT went home with a smile on my face,Started to build a new wing and can not wait to get her up in the WILD blue yonder again

Nearly Here
Well it's nearly here,Our first float fly of the year, I think I'm about as exited as Art at the prospect, the Solo is ready to go again really needs recovering but can not find the time and if it works why fix it???. Yep thats the same aircraft that got dunked at least twice last year, wandered of through the tree's and broke it's tail off twice,She has a new motor though, lost so much power from the front bearing(and Fuel)that I retired "Old faithful"and polished her up for the wall. Will try to get a Das Stick ready too but can not promise due to work schedules, Anyway thats the news from here Happy landings

Witnesses say (through the tears in their eyes)on short grass or blacktop it would be fine.needs a lot of tlc as pic's will show,

Thats Life
Hi folks,
A few lines to let you know that I am alive and well, The gremlins are still crowding around me just one thing after another,Working hard but not making much money, A cold/flu I can not seem to shake off, a router failure at home which while easy to fix took hours to sort out, my Wifes car, my pickup just a whole lot of little problems which have kept me out of the hobby shop, which means I have accomplished nothing on that front this year.
I was saddened to hear about Vern,s passing He was one of the nicest old gentlemen you could meet in this Hobby He gave me a lot of good advice and help never criticizing my mistakes but applauding every success He also found the time to answer my son Richard's endless questions. I guess what I am trying to say here is that he epitomized all the values of our club, The AMA, and our hobby in general. You will be missed Vern,Happy landings

Page Supercub is coming along.
I put all the parts together for the photo. It's BIG.
I have the tail group all sanded and hinges are dry fitted. Next need to make the struts and then form/sand the entire model for covering.

LT-25e Video
Take a look at this video I posted on my Blog. The video was taken by Matt and I put it together with some music. We were flying at the KVMA field on 2-9-08. Great day. Soft snow and just a tad of breeze.
